Fantastic Trails David.Care to share the settings?
This was a biggie… Set up my camera on a tripod on the verandah and hooked it up to my laptop and powered the camera from the mains. On the laptop, I used InPhoto capture to control the camera and took 900, 15 second exposures during the night. In the morning, I used the Photoshop startrails action to layer and average the images into the one you see here. I removed some hotspots in PP (still some to get) and cropped out the distracting corner of the verandah roof….Ta dah!
Wow! Well done David, 900 images!! This looks like swirls in glass, very cool.
Wow that’s impressive!
Brilliant image – thanks for the technical info – been trying to find a program to combine the exposures in Mac but without success – didn’t realise you could do it in PS – off I go hunting now. 900 exposures! Man that’s a lot of memory lol – did PS convulse when you were putting this together?
