Thanks, folks. To answer Sebastien’s question. I use a digital camera, so no IR film and a Hoya R72 IR filter. Generally I set my ISO to 200 and take a white balance setting from green grass. My blog has a how to article about my IR technique: http://burrowlog.blogspot.com/

hey, this is super cool. never seen kedron brooke look so… beautiful. great original work.

David, this is astonishingly beautiful, bearing no resemblance to the gritty film IR of old; it could hardly be further from that realm! I’ve just discovered that an old astronomical Ilford 207 filter in my possession is the same as an R72, so there’s some fun ahead, I hope (although, as the filter is about 160mm square and 12mm thick, so it won’t be easy to use).
