For an exhibition amongst teachers in Kobe, Japan. The theme was about the city of Kobe (pronounced kind of like ko/bay) but I managed to crowbar my idea into the framework of that theme. I went around the city taking pictures of things that reminded me of faces. I’d been doing it a little bit before then anyway so it was just a simple, humourous idea. On a side note, the Japanese native religion of Shinto believes there’s spirits in everything, so this idea fits well in Japan.
