Baerami Blues!

I just wanted to write a little about our holiday this July 2008. We decided to venture into wine country and take a break in the Hunter Valley. Well, beautiful I have to say, but the only thing that spoilt it was that we both got sick the very day we arrived and was unpacking the car.
That really spoilt the feeling from the location. The other strange thing that happened was that EVERY battery I had went flat. I charged all my strobe batteries a day before, and not one of them was able to keep the strobe going, actually it couldn’t even reach full charge.
All in all, I managed to drag myself out in the cold, and get some photography happening of the surrounding area. As a matter of fact, it was so cold, my hands ached when I was shooting. Had to go back to the cabin and put thermal gloves on.
So you will see the series on RB here of what I managed to get. A very beautiful and quiet place.
We stayed in the “Old Dairy”, these guys refurbished an old dairy and made it into a comfortable cabin, I think they did a great job. Open fire at night was awesome.
