Tiverton being in Mid-Devon,Ideally placed mid way between the “Dartmoor National Park” and the “Exmoor National Park”.

This being my first encounter with a ,SLR
But being a young man with things like girls on my mind,
then marrying the right girl(40 years now) and having a family.
Photography did not seem as important to me.

At the age of 58 and having spent the last 25 years
as a professional driver I discovered that due
to ill health I had to retire early.What to do with all this spare time on my hands.

coastline being only half an hours drive away.
Dartmoor and the coastline from Dorset to Cornwall being close by as well,I was well and truly hooked again.

I have found that through photography I have discovered a love and a strong affection for the landscapes and seascapes that abound and surround me here in the South West of England.

I use a Canon 40D DSLR camera with a selection of lenses combined with Lee Filters.
With these in hand you may very well find me up at the crack of dawn,or waiting for the last of the
suns rays to capture
those last fleeting moments of wonder that the sun manages to produce. Its a golden moment
that is always worth waiting for.
