Red river burning
Bubbling
Boiling
Bursting through my veins

Charcoal shadows churning
Falling
Draping
Gathering their furls

Blue waves towering
Grasping
Damning
Blanketing with pain

Red river burning
Bubbling
Boiling
Bursting through my veins

Green ripples creeping
Lapping
Nipping
Feeding on the current

Gray winds swirling
Pushing
Shoving
Smothering with shame

Red river burning
Bubbling
Boiling
Bursting through my veins

Purple stream throbbing
Pushing
Driving
Aching to release

Yellow fury seething
Reaching
Screaming
Gnashing at the strain

Red river burning
Bubbling
Boiling
Bursting through my veins

Pink blossom clenching
Pulling
Tugging
Drawing to the womb

Red river burning
Bubbling
Boiling
Bursting through my veins

White breeze dancing
Swirling
Caressing
Draping on the surface

Violet fingers soothing
Softening
Caressing
Struggling to tame

Red river burning
Bubbling
Boiling
Sloshing through my veins

Black tower looming
Bearing
Cursing
Struggling to constrain

Red river burning
Bubbling
Boiling
Bursting through my veins

Wow…....this is wonderful…..each verse could stand on it’s own as powerful as they are all together. This could be mixed in so many ways and pleasing and changing in every turn of the mix. What wonderful words, and powerful emotions that cling to each….....I love the pink!
    Pink blossom clenching
    Pulling
    Tugging
    Drawing to the womb
    White breeze dancing
    Violet fingers soothing
    Softening
    Caressing
    Struggling to tame
There’s a wonderful rhythm and flow to each and every verse….......beautiful words, beautiful poem.

Wow: Thank you so much for your wonderful praise on this work. I haven’t received many comments on it, but I’ve been fortunate in that the two comments so far have been from people (You and Rosa) who took the time to appreciate it. I know that’s hard to do with so much going on here on RB, and I greatly appreciate your attention.
