The cove at San Carlos by

The cove at San Carlos Bay in Guaymas, Sonora México.

Steep hills surrounding the cove leave little space for terraces, (On which one would obviously build a palapa) or for piers at which to dock one’s private yacht. The owner of this party boat found a unique solution to these limitations – the Palapa Boat.

Olympus E-3, 14-54mm Zuiko lens

Oh my gosh….that grass umbrella is so cute. What a cool little boat.

  • Isn’t that cool? I think it’s fixed to the retaining wall, but it would great if you could take it out on the water :-)
