Zacatlan, Puebla skirts a fertile, narrow valley edged with forested cliffs and spotted with waterfalls. The valley is often hidden by lazy clouds that wait until mid-morning to lift and float away.
Photographed at dawn in Zacatlan, Puebla Mexico: Olympus E-3, 17mm, 1/13 sec, f/16, ISO 250
I know why you ave been “haunted” by it….it is just…wonderful.
Beautiful work Richard and I love the air of mystery that the mist gives it!
Thank you very much Pauline, and I agree with you about the sense of mystery. There was one clear day while I was there, so I was finally able to see the cliffs and the floor of the gorge.

gorgeous work with a feeling of paradise about it. Like a Lost Horizon scene
Thank you John. I took this photo from the balcony of a cabin we spent Christmas in this year. It sure felt like paradise :-)
