My focus as a photographer and digital artist ranges from traditional photography to PhotoArt compilation and the less explored world of abstract design created with natural elements such as smoke, oil and water.

Love the effect you have created on the wall, Richard…a clever ‘visual’ Haiku :)

Hey..! you are for surrealist…..this is great and funny but it contains such an element of symbolism…your images are a constant presence of your “other”….being the rear…the hidden that needs to appear visible..and that is related with matter, with flesh, even more intensily that your own bodily garment. I love it, Richard!.
Rosa (great the idea of “Visual Haiku Series”.

  • I like your interpretation Rosa regarding the constant presence of the other self, sort of like ones shadow – a perfect match yet different.
This one has been in my mind since conception a long time ago, but I had to learn the skills to create it in Photoshop. Well, after several failed attempts I think it is finally done. My intention is to present a simple vision that will motivate deeper trains of thought reaching several levels. I think there are many throughout paths, or interpretations possible other than the one I intended, but that part of the beauty of Haiku.
Muchas gracias Rosa por tu atención. Te mando un abrazote :-)

    Just try and try, Richard..
I know that to learn a tool like that, is sometimes a bit against the “Haiku effect of the natural things”….most of them already found in the direct “seeing” but there is also an inner seeing that will put you into contact with a different quality of interpreting your photographicn adventure…This ana perfect one..almost a title for a novel, or a film…has the quality of a narration. When you start working with Photoshop or other…as a help for you inner light..it is like a miracle of understanding and outburst of creativity…
    Good done…!!

is this you? very cool pose with ciggy … do you smoke? heheh

  • Well, that’s a tough one, or a complicated question to answer. It is me simply because I don’t have a model to work with, but the subject is a man and the figure submerged in the wall could be either a woman or a man depending on who’s looking at the image. The cigarette is a prop. I do smoke though, so the answer to both questions is yes and no. How’s that for a complicated answer?

Thank you so much for dropping by and commenting Lina. It’s always nice to hear from you :-)
