My focus as a photographer and digital artist ranges from traditional photography to PhotoArt compilation and the less explored world of abstract design created with natural elements such as smoke, oil and water.
Wow Richard this is a lovely shot, surreal and full of potential story.
Thank you Lina. I agree with you about the potential stories. The well opening also looks like a skylight at first sight which opens up even more story ideas.

Wow: Thank you for featuring this artwork!P.S. I love the dynamic featured banner :-)
Wow the shapes here are brilliant, enthralling capture Richard
Thank you Georgie. It’s too bad the brick and stone work in the walls of the well don’t show up in this photo because they make a nice contrast to the curving lines of the grate.
what a beautiful and striking photo. I love the poem with it. be careful what you wish for, you may get it.
Thanks John: I often find myself tweaking wishes after a while too. I’ll make a wish and then spend the next little while refining it until I have a vision of exactly what I want. Of course, there are also those wishes that I suddenly regret having made in the first place :-)
first, the art drew me in at the thumbnail ~ fabulous silhouette, color and even more imploring with your daughter reach out over…then there is your verse to go with and the story it tells, I think we all would change our wishes from time to time…when we see from a different perspective “eyes open” …wonderful work all around Richard ~ congrats on your feature, I’m tucking this one in my favs to revisit next time I’m in a wishing mood, and remind me, it’s always me who needs to realize my wishes… :) xxx
Thanks again for your thoughtful comments Linda :-)
