Still: Scanning the QR code reveals the following Haiku.

Light and shadows pause
On the edge of everything
Evening kisses dawn

I’ve been exploring ways of incorporating QR codes into my artwork and thought it would be fun to use them to reveal hidden messages.

QR Codes are gaining popularity in advertising, generally to lead prospective customers to URLs, and were first used in the automotive industry in Japan.

QR Code scanners are available as I-Phone/I-Pad and Android apps,
The ones I’ve linked here are simply the first to appear on a Google search, but there are several Apps available for either OS.

This is the text-free version of my Still Tee shirt design.

My focus as a photographer and digital artist ranges from traditional photography to PhotoArt compilation and the less explored world of abstract design created with natural elements such as smoke, oil and water.

  • Me gusta esa frase, “Mente cuadriculada”.

This is a really neat design Richard…..I love that it feels like a bar code of sorts, don’t we all have one. Really nice with the simple word, STILL

  • Thanks Elizabeth. I’ve been looking for ways to use these QR codes in art, but in a way that actually utilizes a live code, so this seemed like a good idea. I’ve tried blending them in with landscapes and other photos, but the code isn’t clear enough to be read.
