I haven’t been able to identify this flower yet. It was among the orchids at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, so it’s either an orchid or a friend of orchids.
My primary attraction to this photo is the bokeh and soft pastel blur.

Taken with a Sigma 105mm macro on Olympus E-3, handheld.

    This pink is such a stunning back drop to the purple and yellow. A color palette that I would never think of using. Great find and framing of these beautiful blooms.

    The background was created from light reflecting off of other flowers near by. I really focused for the bokeh here. I think next time I’ll take two exposures, the background and then a better detail of the flowers and layer them together … hind-sight’s 20-20.
