Three Times a Damsel by

Once a damselfly clinging to a petal, twice her shadow cast on dark green leaves and three times her reflection on still waters.

you have some magnificent lighting at work here. beautiful.

  • Thanks Nikki. This was a hard one. I took a lot of exposures at different settings over several days to get the right shot. Little critters came and left. The little damselfly posed for me several times.

I love the light in this shot, very intriguing!

  • Thank you Peace. I know you have to look for the 3 damsels; or the one, her reflection and her shadow, but the main objective of the photo is the lighting … and of course the tranquil feel of the setting.
