For Rent
An empty corner in Downtown Clarkesville, GA.
The major highway that runs through this small north Georgia town was diverted to make room for a four lane. The locally owned shops that once thrived at the center of town have fallen to a struggling economy and commerce moving out to the big, warehouse discount stores in the suburbs.

great image. there is something “Americana” about this. maybe the vivid red, white and blue
Richard G Witham replied
You make a great point about the Americana quality. I think it speaks for America’s economic state too.
Thank you!

Awesome, RIchard! Looks like it should be on a studio set! The light/shadow and bold red wall are all so dramatic and almost surreal! Excellent!
Richard G Witham replied
Well, I have to admit that that lamp post screamed at me and insisted I take the photo :D
Thanks again for your comments Krys.

I love love that shadow of that sign. Really nice…..it is funny that the window is so high up. I love that you caught a bit of the blue sky…..I would have been tempted to cut it out, but it looks great here. GREAT JOB!!
