I am a self taught digital photographer who lives in Kurting, Country Victoria, enjoys going away with my family, photographic expeditions with friends and lazy days on our forty acres in Inglewood, country Victoria. As an ex Veterinary nurse, I own many pets which include 3 dogs( one kooli x kelpie pup, one koolie and a pure bred Border Collie ),three cats, fish, mice, axolotls,a rabbit, 10 pet sheep, a pony and 13 Boer goats.
I was a member of Pakenham Camera Club,POTD, Ausphotography and P4P online and enjoy the interaction, members comments and support from both.I have had two images published, one in a newspaper and one PAID job in a New Zealand pet magazine of my pet Axolotls.
As you can see from my images I don’t really have a favorite category but take shots of anything that grabs me! I have been lucky enough to travel to Far Nth Qld 9 times in the last 17 years as well as over most of Victoria and find many interesting subjects.
Hope everyone enjoys my images and feel free to comment! You can also check out my Bubblesite by clicking on this link http://daverach1.redbubble.com/. Enjoy!
A big thankyou to the Calder highway group for featuring 6 of my images today and making me one of the 2 featured artists. What an honor!!!! Have been a bit slack lately and need to put up some more images of this great stretch of Aussie road. Thanks again for the recognition!
Just checked my overview page and Ive had a Top 10 finish in the Cats and Dogs challenge and 2 features, One in the Aussie Wildlife group and one in the Reflections in Building Windows groups all in one day. This brings my feature total to 17 which amazes me!!!! Thanks to everyone in these groups for voting and for the feature honour and for all those who watch and comment!
Just wanted to get out to all those who watch me that fellow Bubbler Lindsay Knowles is selling his calendars of Marysville and surrounds with all profits going to the bushfire appeal. He has taken me up there creek shooting and it was beautiful. Please recommend his work of this area to all of your friends in the hope the amount sold can rise. Many thanks and a very good deed Lindsay!
