A Tourist in London
I get down to London two or three times a year. Sometimes on work and, more recently, as part of my involvement with the UK’s Society for Popular Astronomy. I generally take a camera with me but most of the time I don’t get to shoot anything because I’ve got something to be doing while I’m there (although I did manage a quick shoot the last time I went down for a society meeting).
However, yesterday, we had a family day out in London, doing the proper tourist thing. It’s something I haven’t done since I was in my teens (1986 was probably the last such trip). And, of course, I took my cameras with me.
This set of photographs is the result. Mostly tourist cliché shots, but it was actually kind of enjoyable doing it.

Thanks Suzanne. It’s quite a building isn’t it? It’s the first time I’ve seen it “in the flesh” so to speak and was a little surprised at just how tall it is.
