After messing with yesterday’s edit facility hack I got to thinking that it would be fun to create a Greasemonkey script anyway.
This is different from the bookmarklet approach in that it adds the edit facility into the page of the work, like this:

Thanks all (although I wouldn’t go that far ;)).
As for adding it officially, by the looks of things this is on the TODO list although, of course, they’d be doing it properly rather than as a user-side hack inside a specific browser and done in a way that has a couple of “issues”.
