Chaos
Back in April 2007 I bought a couple of books from the second-hand bookshop in our village. One of them was Chaos – Making a New Science by James Gleick.
Between pages 250 and 251 I found this note.

Chaos belongs to the following groups:
Atheism and United KingdomAvailable for sale as Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters

Hey we have that book too… fascinating stuff… that man is held in very high esteem by my husband (who has to translate to the scientifically challenged) haa ha… I especially like the coloured inserts of the fractals, I’ve spent many minutes staring at them.

Great image, love the layers of different writing, and then through the glasses.

Thanks Kathleen, Sarah and Damian.
Yeah, the “found” nature of it is what I really liked. Having found that “find” I felt compelled to somehow photograph it.

Thanks Andy. And likewise.
Also, hello from a fellow Lincolnshire person (I would have my location in my profile but, currently, there’s a bit of a security/privacy problem with that on RedBubble).

Very nice, tight crop – everything in its right place – I love the contrast of the printed word to the handwritten notes and the bold frame of the glasses bridging the two. Great composition, great shot!
