Chaos

Chaos

Back in April 2007 I bought a couple of books from the second-hand bookshop in our village. One of them was Chaos – Making a New Science by James Gleick.

Between pages 250 and 251 I found this note.

Chaos belongs to the following groups:

Hey we have that book too… fascinating stuff… that man is held in very high esteem by my husband (who has to translate to the scientifically challenged) haa ha… I especially like the coloured inserts of the fractals, I’ve spent many minutes staring at them.

    Thanks Kathleen, Sarah and Damian.

Yeah, the “found” nature of it is what I really liked. Having found that “find” I felt compelled to somehow photograph it.

Very nice, tight crop – everything in its right place – I love the contrast of the printed word to the handwritten notes and the bold frame of the glasses bridging the two. Great composition, great shot!
