very cool! didn’t you say you thought this looked overprocessed (or a similar version of it)? i think it looks great, and i can tell it’s had some work done but i never would have thought it looked overcooked. awesome capture and effects.

Yeah, this isn’t actually the same shot, this is me trying the same technique on this shot from my Storm from Stow album. The effect is growing on me.
The image I initially tried this on is a portion of a much bigger image taken on medium-format film with my Lubitel 166B (the one shown here was taken on my Canon EOS 400D at around the same time) and I’m waiting on the tiff scans of the film (they’re huge, about 290MB a pop) so if I decide to run with a similar treatment of that it’ll probably be a few days before I upload it anywhere.
