This piece also reminds me of string theory in physics, and the ongoing questions arising between the concepts of particle and wave theory. Finally, it also can represent the notions of notes and sounds in 4-dimensional space. In the arts and architecture balance in all these concepts creates a vibrant beauty capable of turning dissonance into consonence simply by altering your point of view.

Amazingly so.

I like this – deceptively simplistic, but captures the essence of a town.

  • A town – hmmm – yes. I hadn’t thought of that. Always happy to see through other’s eyes! Thanks, ArtPearl!

    Particle and wave.
    As the light is…
no one seems to think about it… except in studying at school….(in a by the way manner). And the point is..that if one is looking for “reason” this paradox…is perfectly clear..that it could not be other way. We are here for creating stability, the minimum… for if not, our organisms would not exist.. so matter.. and light is a form of “matter” does the same. For one thing the apparent solidity of particles…individuals, forms in a sort of packs of energy that move…act and o the other hand the fluid energy of waves, like the resonnace that is necessary.
And about the string theory in physics.. the Tantra that so mistaken cosmogical and spiritual-material science and philosophy….much earlier than our physicists talks about the “tantra-net” of the matter, like a huge net web, where all dimensions are possible, where one point of it, while acting can be reflected in all the rest, either in time or out of it..a huge holography….a huge multidimensional environ, that contains and is container…that is body-soul…that is yang-ying..and all these things… or apparent mystery, are what we are…and cannot perceive with the senses.
Except the artists like you, that see more than the eyes can see, and express with such an economy of traces, the profound discrepancy of our lobes brains, and though perfectly matched to form our daily ego.
    As you have told..
    “amazingly so”…
    warming up my intelect…
    arising up my imagination…
    Good
    Rosa

  • I totally agree with your underlying conception that it is ourselves that invent the world we need to exist in. The five senses, so limiting, but on purpose in order to make our way through the parts of the world most essential for our own survival. Yes, hah, Amazingly so!

Keep the eyes open, the ears keen, every nerve ending in the skin turned on and inputting, and then in the midst of that deluge of cosmic information, integrate it all into a being that can then open even further to feel the vibration of light, the impact of the waves, beating like sounds and bits of raindrops. The phrase in song of sunshine like rain, and so many others intimating in their personal knowledge of so much more out there besides our mere survival. The journey continues.

    Thank you Rosa!
