I love abstract forms that sit on the edge between pure abstraction and a surrealism where the observer can imagine known objects or anthropomorphic shapes. I also love light. Here is use a hidden light in deep space that is lighting up realistic three-dimensional space.
The globular cluster M13 is of course in the Messier object in the constellation Hercules. I have always had an interest in astronomy, cosmology, and metaphysics in general. Newer works are going to be filled with sunshine.
The original oil painting with thin wood frame is for sale for $10480 US plus shipping. Contact Dave Martsolf through Bubblemail or at davidmartsolf@comcast.net for details.

Great shapes
Miro inspired?
Some of my favs: Dali, Miro, Kandinsky, Klee, Mondrian, hmmm, Henry Moore, Lipshitz, now back to the classics, Vermeer, and the list goes on and on stepping across certain works of most of those who have stood the test of time. The current art scene just boggles my mind. Even discounting all the travel photo junk and play-at-art junkies, there is still just such a wealth of really GOOD art out there in every field. Amazing!
I’m already a fan, and this confirms it. I think I’m getting more mushrooms than miro . . . ‘cooking in space’?
Yes, mushrooms! Must have been those strange mushrooms. Thanks!
