Awarded LRPS distinction by the Royal Photographic Society by david marshall

Feeling great sense of achievement that I have been awarded this acceditation, especially after seeing the high standard of the other applicants work today. The recommended route to this is to attend a workshop beforehand to help select and craft the images. Due to a busy schedule this wasn’t possible for me this time. Last week I had planned to get out of bed early to capture some new pictures at sunrise with a London architecture theme. I was sucessful for one morning with this before falling sick with a stomach bug for the rest of the week! With circumstances as they were I had to take a pick of my existing portfolio. Looks like somebody was looking out for me because it paid off!

I’m now soaking up as much as I can at the Focus on Imaging show here in Birmingham. I’m looking forward to working towards the next RPS level, have learnt so much so far I just want to continue developing.
