Ashtown Castle Door, Dublin, Ireland by

This kind of reminds me of a scene from some old fairytale, wonder what kind of monster lives behind these doors.

It is in fact the door of Ashtown Castle in the Phoenix Park in Dublin, Ireland.
You can find it on the grounds of the visitor centre in the park.
You can also do a tour of the castle, a real treat if you have the time.

Taken on a Zenza Bronica SQ-A 120mm film camera filled with Kodak Tri-X 400 film

I also run a blog all about the Phoenix Park here in Dublin featuring various ramblings on my love of photography called Visions Of The Phoenix Park

I’m an amateur photographer based in Ireland.
Slightly obsessed with trees, black and white, infra-red and landscapes.
I love music too.
I also write a blog Visions Of The Phoenix Park

Dave, The details, contrast and composition are spot on. Splendid work on all the new uploads with the fine Bronica camera! James

  • Thanks James.
I’m truly addicted to film at this stage now. Can’t see myself turning back to digital again now.
Didn’t think it would ever happen.
