End of the Road
I saw this beat up old car on my trip to Lake Mungo. Quite an arid area. Especially now, as parts of south eastern Australia are now in drought. At the time in January, there had been so little rain that the normal grass cover had died and revealed the red earth underneath.
It’s a very bumpy journey, and almost undrivable in the wet due to the clay soils.

Nice image David and a great find, I love the stong polarizer effect.

Something iconically Australian about a rust bucket. Kind of in keeping with the ANZAC day theme of commemorating and even celebrating in a strange sort of way a lost battle. Love it.
