Rottnest Island Pelican
Taken at Rottrest Island – Western Australia.
This pelican was airing his wings standing on a post like the one in the image. Was lucky enough to be in position after almost running 200m to reach the spot where his enormous span could be seen. On cue he took off and this is the result.
