The competition is run by Practical Photography magazine and Digital Photo here in the UK. See

Fingers crossed as the monthly prize is a D300 kit and £500 worth of Jessops vouchers!!

Help needed.....please!!!!!

I have over the last couple of weeks been commissioned to undertake two shoots. One industrial shoot and one interior shoot for some million pound plus flats in central London.
My problem is, with this being my first commercial shoot for “real grown up” clients i have no idea how or what to charge? The industrial shoot is over 4 months just shooting as i work at my “real” job, so i thought of charging per image and if they want any framed or alike i could charge on and individual basis.
The problem is the interiors! It will be a one day shoot in a newly fitted show flat. What is the going rate? The client has seen my work and is looking for something “a bit different” and he likes what i have done so far.

Any thoughts would be sooooooo welcome.

Thanks for…
