I desperately need your feedback and critique. I finished this piece, and I am pleased. I was intimidated by this one because I had not done any work in watercolor for 19 years.
The paper I worked on is 124lb. Canson Montval Rough. I don’t like this paper. I am used to working on Arches 140 or 300 lb. rough or sometimes Strathmore rough. Fighting the paper added an unecessary level of difficulty.

The piece is based on a photo I shot at Aviation Nation, Nellis AFB 14 Nov. 09.

Excellent work Dave. I just wouldn’t want my wingman flying that close though. – Ted

That is pretty tight, but maybe make some allowance for this being a shot from an airshow? Or it could be telephoto lens distortion? At any rate, thanks for your feedback.

Thank you, I apreciate all feedback… I had not done any watercolor work in a long time when I did this.
