Jess
On Tuesday I said goodbye to my little mate. She was nearly thirteen so I guess she had a pretty full life and at least she is not suffering any more as she has been pretty sick for some time….
I will miss that nagging little bark when I am lost in my digital world and haven’t fed you or haven’t let you know I cared.
I will miss that little lump at the end of my bed where my feet would go if you weren’t there and that little face inches from my waking eyes when I try and sleep in late.
I will miss that little bark and those rushing little feet at the end of a busy day, but most of all I’ll miss just having you around.
Goodbye my little friend – may you rest in piece.

Beautiful sentiments and a beautiful little girl…. I am sure you are going to miss her Dave, and I don’t blame you one bit…. we had a Pom from the animal welfare league and he was the most wonderful, friendly dog ….. he ended up blind in both eyes but we loved him to bits…. and he has now passed on too. So maybe your Jess might meet up with our Basil and tell doggy tales, and remember the good lives they had with us …....

Thanks Barb – we do get attached to them don’t we.
I’ll bet Basil and Jess would get on just fine.

Isn’t she gorgeous! Your sentiments are lovely. It sounds like she had a happy life and she’ll be waiting on the the other side of that rainbow bridge.
