These monks paused in the light to pose for a tourist on the other side of the pillars. A lucky shot and one of my favourite. (Bagan – Myanmar).

    Thanks Rubes. Took this in January 2006 in Bagan, which is a magic place. I didn’t hear of any serious problems in that area but there may have been. I truly hope not.

    I love the bright colors the monks wear. We just got back from Cambodia and seeing the monks in their robes was really a highlight. This was a terrific capture. I can see why it’s one of your faves…wonderful.
