Layers and layers of Blue Ridge Mountains at sunset. This scenic landscape was shot from the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Southern Appalachians of Western North Carolina. It was a windy, cold, and clear autumn evening in the mountains when I shot this while teaching a digital photography workshop for landscapes on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
