I’ve loved photography since my days with the Brownie Starflash camera I got on my tenth birthday. Later I learned to process film as a hobby using the Cibachrome chemicals and barrels. My interest waned until digital came onto the scene. No more waiting for film to return from the processor to discover that exposure was off or the composition was faulty. With digital, as we all know, you get feedback on your images instantaneously. The techy side of my brain is now sated and I became aware of a need to develop the artsy side of me. I am an optometrist so I have studied the science of optics and human perception, but not much study of art and artistic expression. I look forward to learning from the artists here at Redbubble in the various groups that are set up. The art here is excellent in all types of genre, so if nothing more than osmosis, I look forward to opportunities to learn from the talent that is here.
