    awesome aren’t they!

  • Oh yes, especially in action. She can go from stop to takeoff in minimal space. Same on landing, the reverse thrusters kick in and scream her to a halt!

i saw a c17 a while back, fly over part of perth & then googled the info on the aircraft & it’s amazing just how much they do!

  • You know, as I look at some of my pics, I might have this mislabeled! Do you know if the one that you saw was from America? Or do you use them in Australia also?

we use them in australia. i don’t know if there is a c18.

  • Thanks, I was wrong, and maybe about the above specs as well. I have another plane picture that i need to figure out…

    i think it’s is a c17.

  • I changed the title… The pic i have in question is one of a cargo plane with four propellers, two on each wing. It sits real low to the ground, and i think it it the one with the backwards thrust… i forget now, i’d have to find and watch the video. Anywho, thank you for your comments!

She sure is, i saw the inside of this once, you can put a house inside of it! :-)

  • These are especially fun to watch in action, as they require minimal ground to land. I have C-5’s that fly over my house almost daily, and those things you can drive a semi-truck straight through, nosecone pops up and everything!
