The Zig Zag railway was an engineering feat in its day. These days it’s a great tourist attraction. Located at Clarence near Lithgow, it offers steam locomotives on weekends and holidays with a rail motor on weekdays. There are rides, walking trails, workshop tours, picnic grounds and photo opportunities. There are also some great vantange points along the road to photograph the trains.
