I seem to have come back from my trip out west with a bunch of these shots, haha. I guess when you’re not used to seeing these large flat expanses of land and long straight roads, it strikes you as interesting.
It did make me think of that episode of Chelmsford 123 where the Pagan locals were aguing with the Romans about the Romans’ straight roads versus the locals’ winding roads. The argument ended with the statement: “… and what do you have at the end of a straight road? A CORNER!” :-)
