In visual media, Dariusz Roberte is primarily a photographic & digital media artist. His work has been in more than 35 exhibitions/events in various galleries around Australia and on many websites globally. He also took part in an exhibition for the Australian Embassy in Jakarta. Collections in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane – also Japan, Italy, Czech Republic, Sweden, The Netherlands…

Epoch Collapse is an experimental electronic music & audio-visual/multi-media project of composer/media technician Dariusz Roberte.

Epoch Collapse is not affiliated within any particular movement or trend in music or media, though their music or sound art could be categorised or described as ‘symphonic sound-scape’, ‘dark-wave’, ‘dark-ambient’, ‘electronic avant-garde’, ‘industrial’, ‘space-rock’, ‘film score music’ etcetera. The compositions involve a fair degree of multi-layering and textural complexity which has almost become a musical trademark.

Dariusz is a writer as well. His body of work is made up mostly of short stories & prose poetry. He has also worked as reviewer & editor for music, sound art & film. During 2005-2006 he undertook the role of ‘sounds’ editor for M/C (Media Culture) a web-based journal for Qld University of Technology. Here’s one example –
