R.I.P. George Carlin

He was one of my favorite comedians, an idol along with Denis Leary. His controversial themes and use of what we would consider "naughty words" brought some personality to comedy. Crude at times, maybe, but he was also one that could think of many things to say off of the top of his head. Unrehearsed and unrestricted, uncensored and underrated, understandable and unforgettable….that’s what George Carlin was.
A man of his art…and now dead. Hopefully someone will pick up where he left off, but I doubt anyone will match up with such a comedian.

I will really miss George. I used to sneak over to my friend’s house to listen to an LP of his Seven Dirty Words because my parents thought he was vulgar. LOL Thanks Geroge for years of fun, laughs, and helping me to think about life!
