What is DOF?! (I might have asked this before, very new to this so I forget)- Looks like he is wearing glasses. I hate spiders, but love this photo!

Good Morning … DOF = Depth Of Field
This is the measure of the ‘in focus’ component of the photo.
With Macro photography its hard to achieve a large DOF (getting the whole spider in focus for example) and in extreemes multiple images are taken and layered.
With Portrait photography a smaller DOF tends to be prefered resulting in the background being blurred, also works well with flowers etc.
A higher Aperture (F stop) will give larger DOF
Hope this explains DOF… and doesn’t confuse. :-)
