Sawn Rocks - Mt Kaputar National Park, NSW
You’re looking at a 40m basalt cliff with perpendicular-octagonal shaped rocks resembling a giant series of organ pipes. Yes they’re crystals (huge ones) as a result of volcanic activity.

We have a park here in Victoria near Diggers Rest that has a wall of these too, and it is called the organ pipes ! they are such an unusual formation, all the lines seem perfect, wonderful and interesting capture Darren
