My big strong boy, you came at us sooner than we had expected. You came at us like a bolt of lightning. Your mother called you her little .44 magnum because that’s what you weighed when you were born. Four pounds, four ounces.

Not no more, huh? You got so big so fast. You’re the happiest baby I’ve ever known. You’re poor mum can’t even carry you for longer than a few minutes. I always carry you all the time. Your mum hates that. She says I spoil you. But so what? You deserve it. You came to us and to me.

I gave you the coolest name I could think of. It was just coincidence that your initials are LSD. Or maybe not. Maybe I planned it that way. It doesn’t matter. You are the only one I know who has those initials. You are an original, indeed. You are truly genuine and one day you’re gonna show this stupid world just how great you really are.

This is my son. He is the greatest son in the world. One day, he’ll grow up and be your friend. He will do great things because I said so. He is already showing just how intelligent he is and just how intelligent he will yet become. I stubbed my toe once while I was carrying him. He was only about 4 months old. I yowled in pain. My boy was fussing but when I made a sound of agony, he stopped. He looked at me w/the cutest look of concern on his face and gave me a hug. I’m so proud of him.

You are my son. I love you w/all my heart. I will do everything I can and know how to do to make sure you get the best things in life and become the best man you could possibly be. This is my duty and honor. The Creator has given you to me because He knew that I will be the father you deserve. You are my big strong boy.
