Hey DH. You know how I feel about this work…it’s so beautiful and ethereal. The watery softness of the light is perfect, and I love the two bins – they’re so clean! And the position of your body leaves so much to interpretation – are you listening to what’s on the other side and wanting to be a part of it, or are you readying yourself to push away from the door altogether and explore what’s around you? It’s wonderful!

Great image & creative set / background…To me looks like he / you have stood up on the shelf step to have a peek through a door….Love the dark murkyness x ;))

The dark overtones in this are spectacular… seriously, your work should be on really huge canvases in a gallery (if they are not already!)

I came back because something was ringing bells with a theatrical concept I have just uploaded. Now, when I see this, I can indeed see that something not meant to be seen, which made the bells ring and brought me back.

The very most a man could hope for would be to grow and inspire and lead others, on his way INTO the light. This IS what you have done, and I am along for the ride. YOu are a credit to your gender – a magnificent male, nude form. GLORIOUS, dark, yet filled with the hope of light, and, indeed, lightness.

My own work is made more courageous and honest in the face of work like this. You force me. You inspire great work, don’t you? This is a very good, good thing.

my eyes are first drawn to your beautiful body which exudes masculinity, there is so much symbolism in this portrait.

the elevated step you are standing on symbolizes your rise against the closed door.

there is more to the ripped shirt than ”...nothing to hide” the ripped shirt is an aggressive stripping away of mainstream acceptance and represents courage and strength

the ethereal beauty of the colours and environment is almost surreal and has a dream-like quality. the wall seems massive and yet you have the power to push through it

Poignant words to a powerful piece… I believe there is also a great freedom to this image, after all what better place than the dark to finally be confronted with the truth and to find the courage to be one’s self… Love the cinematic feel to this shot also, the light is superb and gives it so much raw power… sensational!
