Its so hard to explain the emotions that you feel for a picture like this. All i can say is i’ve expearienced it twice and there is nothing more amazing and beauitful.
Never experienced this but it is a great shot. Congrats.
What a shot! Such a moment to capture, let alone have so many visual elements included, those lights and clocks are terrific.
This is quite simply brilliant. Well done MArk. What an exceptional shot.
A memorable moment so well captured
I love it! I love the lights up top. Brilliant
As a midwife, I guess I see this in a different light…why are all the photos of birth on this site all caesarian sections? Yes birth is emotional, but how empowering? What has happened to the darkened room, the comfort and the quiet for the baby to be born into. Imagine being warm and snug then suddenly being awoken lights on high beam, unusual loud noises, cold air and many hands…look at the baby’s face…please.(I know some caesarians can be life savers, but the World Health Organization states a rate of below 10% is the only acceptable rate…why then do we as a country have a Caesarian rate of over 30%?I don’t wish to take away from your experience Mark, because the birth of baby is the most special thing.
