Something happened
When you shot your arrow
In the distance
I saw a sparrow

Slipping falling
Down on my knees
My hands on the ground
The sparrow sees

Pleading begging
For diffidence, for hate
Crawling on my chest
The sparrow of Fate

I asked it for diffidence
I asked it for hate
I begged it forever
To give me a break

Instead I am broken
Shot by your arrow
I surrender my love
And thank the sparrow.

I love the form and pace of this very much. I also like the imagery and the way it reads!
