Whitman's Dream

Whitman's Dream

This is a pen and ink sketch of Treeman relaxing in a hammock, reading Leaves of Grass while being held by men made of wood. Treeman will soon be a series. Oddly when I work with this particular pen, I have an alter-ego that is whimsical instead of gothic. In another world, trees will rule the earth. Inspired by Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman.

Whitman needs to not drink so much coffee so soon before going to bed. ;) really interesting piece. I’m digging it.
