I am quirky and crazy, sort of impulsive and its lead me to some amazing places in my life. I am HIGHLY influenced by music for my photos. There is a playlist in my head 24/7.

I have been a photographer since I was 19 years old, it started as just a hobby, just a class I took. Shortly after I got a job in a studio…. while it didn’t teach me much technical, it did help with my creativity and brought me out of my shell. After only 8 months of being there I was promoted to assistant manager.

The great thing about photography is that you are never done, never satisfied, there is so much involved that makes it fun but also extremely challenging.

I am working on several different projects and trying to find my niche in the photography world. My biggest fascination at the moment is Pin ups and finding ways to incorporate abandoned buildings into the pin ups. I have been able to find a few models who will venture into abandoned buildings with me. I do portrait photography as my main source of income through weddings and the company I currently work for. You can visit my wedding photography site here: www.fatamorganaphotography.com

I am also working on doing self portrait photography in abandoned buildings, which is by far, the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life. I started off doing it for fun until I met a wonderful woman named Kristine. Her raw talent and amazing out look on life and about herself was contagious. I unfortunately broke my foot after meeting her and set my self portraits back by 6 months. When I did my first one with the help of a companion and posted it here I got so many amazing reposes which made me want to do it more. I do them even though I gained a considerable amount from breaking my foot.I thought I’d be too ashamed but I look at the photos and see how beautiful I am… fat or skinny… my radiance shows through…

I have been featured in the groups POSTED: No Trespassing and Abandoned Asylums.

"Happy does not make for good artistic work..."

Being happy apparently makes my work very lackluster…. / However I am both light and darkness embodied… / On one hand, I am a wedding photographer, capturing the happiest day of people’s life. But also, the most gut wrentching and stressful. I was once told by my significant other,“You aren’t allowed to ever plan your wedding, you would lose your mind if anything wen…

A new era... Self portraits in abandonments

A very good friend of mine has inspired me to finally do this. The first time I met her she showed me her nude self portraits as well as a few she had done of other people. I have always wanted to do male nudes in an abandonment but its VERY hard to get a male to pose nude for me (but for some reason I can get a girl naked any day of the week… go figure) And since I could not get any of my …
