Taken in wonderful Venice , some people love it and some folks dont. Me i love Venice, i wish i could stay for a month or so to get the full vibe of the place. Taken with my trusty old 5D and a 28-200 travel lens.
Oh, I wish you could too if it would mean more of these stunning glimpses of other worlds. The lamps in the window and that soft pink light nestled in the sepia lend such an air of old world romance to this.Gorgeous photograph.:-)..it would make a beautiful print too.
Huge thank you sticky, your eye for detail colour and mood is amazing. Your comments mean a lot to me. I hope you are enjoying that art course you are doing.
gees I LOVE it!! All the warmth, romance and charm that is Venice :)
I even enjoyed the boat trip there, my touristy gondola ride was great as well. I was transported back to a possible past life on that gondola ride, my boatman all dressed up in the traditional kit. The only thing that brought me back to reality was when he whipped out his moblie phone and decided to have a chat with somebody. Reality can be a bugger sometimes.
I agree with Louise, this epitomises Venice in every way. Now I can’t wait to go back either. Never mind “Under the Tuscan Sun” this could easily be the cover for a book called “Under the Venetian Moon”.
That is a wonderful comment Sue. I like your thinking, under the Venetian Moon. Sounds very romantic, Maybe that book might have a secret code by Caravaggio, in it or maybe some Vampires.
Giant thanks Scott, your shots of venice are great. The best thing i like about Venice is everyone can capture something different there, plus the coffee is pretty good as well.
