I submitted this as part of an assignment during university.
I used the suit to represent the corporate world. I then sought to have the female form adopt a casual but self-assured pose in an attempt to express a confident empowerment that shows women can be just as powerful as men.

I also wanted her to have a look of composure that would suggest that little (maybe nothing) would phase her no matter what the circumstance. It’s a trait I strive for & really admire. I don’t want her mistaken for a ‘Alpha Female’ (I have worked under a couple of those) she is so much better than that.

This is a studio shot using ILFORD HP5 PLUS black & white film taken with a Pentax SLR K1000 & then converted to digital.
