A wild Dingo on the tourist beach, Fraser Island, Australia.
Life really can be as nice & simple as sitting on a beach watching the world go by. For a Dingo anyway.
When i spotted the Dingo it was looking very content and unafraid of its surroundings and that’s what I was hoping to capture.
What is a Dingo?
The Australian Dingo or Warrigal is an ancient, free roaming, primitive canine unique to the continent of Australia. Dingoes play an important role in the various ecosystems of Australia; they are apex predators and the largest terrestrial predators on the continent (From Wikipedia)

Great capture of a dingo very comfortable in it’s surroundings!
Thanks, it was very comfortable. That was before the rangers arrived to move it along. They are not allowed on the tourist beach.

Great capture! He looks almost friendly.
Thanks, he does look friendly but they are not. I used to live on Fraser Island where the dingos roam and you could hear them at night. Their sound was that of an unnatural babies cry.

cute! he seems like an adorable creature. do they have the same temperament as wolves? like, can you get upclose to them or not?
At your own risk :) They have as you mentioned exactly the same temperament as wolves.
