This poem is about two things, 1 is praising myself for how I’ve pulled myself together over a difficult 12 months of self exploration and 2 acknowledging how fantastic my wife Helen has been over this period of time. No man could wish for a better friend by their side, there is no pillar so strong as that of true love. She’s helped me through so much and has given more than I could ever ask. I now know what true love is and just want to spend my life looking after her in the way she has helped me.
