Haunting Emma

Supernatural – crime
PG – supernatural themes, infrequent coarse language

What do you get when you move into a town half populated by ghosts?
Not much privacy but lots of new friends and protection from your crazy husband.
Anne an Alkemade’s first novel is a splendid mix of crime and the supernatural with lots of gentle humour sprinkled on top.
Private Investigator Vinny Cassar is bullied into a lucrative search and find job by tyrannical movie producer Richard Standish. With the help of his dead wife, half sister and some very distant relatives Vinny discovers the truth of a mystery that started well over a 100 years earlier and with it a finds new start to his own shattered life.
Ms van Alkemade has written a novel that highlights her skill of fast and accurate back story and character profile without distracting from the rapid flow of the story.
Those of you familiar with this story from it’s serialization early in the days of redbubble.com will be pleasantly surprised to see the story neatly edited and packaged in this feel good story about family, love and a lot of ghosts.
VERDICT: addictive.

This sounds pretty interesting – I’m always a sucker for a good supernatural tale. Good to see RB assisting with the distro and publishing – a sign of things to come, perhaps?

I wish her great success with her book. However, if Red bubble gets into producing books, yoou may be surprised how over whelming that will get with author’s on Red Bubble. I’m one myself.
:<) it would be a nice outlet though.

A must read for everybody, whether you’re a child, teenager or adult. I’m only half way through and keep picking it up to see what happens next… Of course nothing else is getting done, not even RB/FB… Time RB did books so you can publish yours in Australia as well Danny!!!
