Holy crap Danny, Talk about impact!

I love the fact that the horizontal lines around the planes add perspective, making them seem even more distant..

I`ve got a little something in the mix for this… Similar, yet very different. An excellent theme,.

Thanks guys, the horizontal lines are a specialty used all the time by Gerald Scarfe and Ralph Steadman (two of my favourite all time illustrators) Can’t wait to see what you have up your sleeve.

This song was originaly on Amused to Death A great album in it’s own right.

Really poweful imagery and nice layout danny.

There is a doco out the on the fate of the girl in the photo which is really good. She survives her horrific injuries and became a peace activist and UNESCO ambassador, living in Canada.

I saw a doco where the photographer who took the famous photograph met up with her again as an adult. It was rivetting and very moving.
I always find it hard to fathom that images such as these are actual representations of a time and place in the human race…... very sad and just so impactive and confronting when presented together in this way. Excellent work Danny (I actually hate saying that because I think it sounds a little condescending but believe me it is not, I know nothing about design and putting together images such as this).

That’s an unreal design Danny. The splash of red just hits you between the eyes. So many iconic images in one piece is a real challenge and you’ve balanced them perfectly. I saw the doco with the (now) woman who was the centrepiece for that famous photo and she’s gone on to be an incredible ambassador for peace. This is a perfect example of why the truth should be told in photos and illustrations not matter how many people say to hide it away and ‘keep it nice’. I’ll get of my soapbox now. :)

Danny – top stuff.

Amused to Death is easily the most important, creative, thought provoking, amazing masterpieces of music ever made. I have owned it since 92’ and when listening to it, I am still moved to shivers and tears.

This work encompasses all that Roger is saying in that song.

this reminds me of that photo – ‘Q:and babies? A: and babies’
basically it’s a shot of a a road lined with dead women and children whit the title printed it bold red text over the shot. it’s quite alot to digest and make you feel uneasy, but uneasy in a good way; the way that makes your really question why such horrible things can happen in the world. this image your made has the same effect on me. good work.
